Special Measurement Techniques

MTKW develops systems for measuring mechanical state variables on moving engine components. Slip ring transmitters and custom-designed linkage systems are used for signal transmission. Data is recorded time-based or crankshaft angle-based. This enables highly dynamic effects – for example, in the connecting rod bearing oil supply – to be analysed and optimised.
