MTKW GmbH is an independent engineering company based in Flein near Heilbronn. It was founded in 2017 by Professor Karsten Wittek. The core business is the development of combustion engine components.
About
Karsten Wittek studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where he also earned his doctorate in the field of engine research. From 2001 to 2013, he held various positions as an engine developer at FEV Motorentechnik GmbH in Aachen, including roles as an engine designer and project manager.
Since 2013, he has been a professor at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, where he teaches thermodynamics and combustion engines. He also heads the Labor für kolbenmaschinen, where he and his team conduct research primarily focused on hydrogen combustion engines.
